Product Disposable Nitrile Powder-Free Chemical-Resistant Gloves, single-use, non-sterile.

Material • Synthetic nitrile rubber / nitrile latex. • Latex-free; must not contain natural rubber latex. • Suitable for routine HSE, laboratory, maintenance, cleaning and incidental chemical handling applications.

Design & Construction • Powder-free and non-sterile. • Ambidextrous design. • Seamless construction. • Rolled/beaded cuff for improved strength and ease of donning. • Flexible construction provides adequate dexterity and tactile sensitivity. • Free from visible manufacturing defects, tears, holes, sticking or brittleness.

Surface / Grip • Micro-textured or textured fingertips, preferably extending to the palm. • Surface must provide adequate grip under dry and wet working conditions.

Physical Performance The gloves must meet or exceed the applicable requirements of ASTM D6319, including: • Tensile strength: ≥ 14 MPa, before and after ageing. • Ultimate elongation: ≥ 500% before ageing. • Ultimate elongation: ≥ 400% after ageing. • Adequate resistance to deterioration following accelerated ageing.

Freedom from Holes / Barrier Integrity • Gloves must comply with applicable requirements for freedom from holes. • Pinhole/leak defect acceptance level must be AQL 2.5 or better. • Applicable testing may include ASTM D5151 or an equivalent internationally recognized standard.

Chemical & Microbiological Resistance • Gloves must be suitable for incidental contact with commonly encountered industrial chemicals, cleaning agents and laboratory substances. • The product must comply with the applicable requirements of EN ISO 374-1 to EN ISO 374-5.

Inner Surface • Powder-free inner surface. • Must permit reasonably easy donning and removal. • Chlorinated or polymer-coated inner surface is acceptable. • Inner coating must not adversely affect glove integrity, flexibility or intended protective performance.

Representative sample(s) for technical evaluation. ACCEPTANCE / QUALITY REQUIREMENT The supplied gloves must conform to the above mentioned technical specifications. PSPC reserves the right to inspect the supplied product and reject any gloves exhibiting excessive manufacturing defects, inconsistent quality, poor elasticity, damaged packaging, deterioration, abnormal odor, inadequate barrier integrity or other characteristics inconsistent with the approved specification. The supplier must submit a representative sample of the offered product along with the quotation/bid. Submission of sample is mandatory and must be a prerequisite for technical evaluation. The submitted sample must be of the same manufacturer, product type, specification, quality and packaging configuration as the product proposed for supply. Any subsequent supply must conform to the technically approved sample.
