Calibration of the existing overhead mild steel (MS) diesel storage tank of 2,000 litres capacity using the water-fill method. The work shall include safe draining and temporary storage of the existing diesel in suitable storage drums, with the required pumping system to be arranged by the bidder; filling the tank with measured quantities of water at predetermined intervals to establish the corresponding liquid levels; preparation of a calibration chart/table correlating liquid level with volume; adjustment or replacement of the existing level indicator/sticker, if required, to reflect the calibrated levels; complete draining of water from the tank; and transfer of the temporarily stored diesel back into the tank using a suitable pump. The bidder shall ensure safe handling and storage of diesel, complete removal of water before refilling, and proper cleaning and reinstatement of the tank and associated equipment upon completion. All labour, materials, equipment, pumps, measuring devices, storage drums, tools, and incidentals required for satisfactory completion of the work shall be included in the quoted rate. %Job
