Award Shields

Specification
*Shield Body:* Made of good-quality wooden/MDF, covered with premium-quality artificial leather (leatherette) with a neat, smooth and wrinkle-free finish.

*Size and Shape:* Approximately 12 × 16 inches with two halves, with an elegant traditional shape. Final dimensions and design shall be approved by the purchaser before manufacturing.

*Stitching and Finishing:* All leather-covered edges shall have neat, uniform and durable decorative stitching. No loose threads, uneven edges, visible adhesive marks or other finishing defects shall be acceptable.

*Embossed Steel Plate:* A high-quality stainless-steel or brass-finish metal plate shall be fixed securely to the front of each shield on both halves. The plate shall feature embossed lettering/design, with clear, legible and durable text. The plate shall include the approved shield title, recipient details and other relevant wording, as provided by the purchaser.

*Protective Glass/Acrylic:* A transparent glass or premium-quality clear acrylic panel shall be provided around the institute's name/logo area to enhance its appearance and protect the printed or engraved details. The panel shall be securely fitted, scratch-free and neatly finished, with no sharp edges.

*Institute Name and Logo:* The name and the official logo, where provided, shall be displayed prominently on right half. The layout, lettering, colours and placement shall be approved by the purchaser before production.

*Rear Support and Hanging Arrangement:* Each shield shall have a sturdy rear support or a secure wall-hanging arrangement suitable for display.

*Workmanship:* All 21 shields shall be uniform in size, shape, colour, material quality and overall finish. Materials shall be new and free from defects.

*Sample Approval:* The supplier shall submit one complete sample shield for inspection and approval by the purchaser before manufacturing the remaining quantity.

*Inspection and Acceptance:* Final acceptance shall be subject to inspection by the purchaser. Damaged, defective, poorly stitched, improperly embossed or otherwise non-conforming shields shall be replaced by the supplier at no additional cost.

*Delivery:* The supplier shall deliver 21 complete shields to Hydro Power Training Institute, Mangla, in properly packed condition to prevent damage during transportation on his own expense.
