Providing, supplying and fixing 6 mm thick glass of approved make, quality and shade, with sample duly submitted and approved by the competent committee, for commercial building windows, including inspection, repair and rectification of existing aluminium and iron window frames wherever required, cutting glass to the required sizes, edge grinding and polishing, necessary drilling and processing, and installation in designated openings or existing frames using approved glazing gaskets, setting blocks, sealants, clips and other necessary fixing accessories, as applicable. The work shall also include providing, installing and fixing suitable window locks, rollers/wheels, handles and all associated hardware, screws and fittings to ensure proper locking and smooth operation of windows. The glass shall have a uniform dark black appearance, consistent colour and shade, and a smooth surface, free from cracks, chips, scratches, stains, bubbles, distortions and other visible defects. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of all materials, loading, unloading, packing, transportation to site, handling, storage, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, access arrangements, installation, alignment, cutting, processing, wastage, repair of existing frames, hardware, accessories, protection of completed work, cleaning after installation and all applicable government taxes and duties. The entire work shall be completed in accordance with the approved samples, relevant quality standards and specifications, and the directions of the Building Incharge/Engineer, to their entire satisfaction.
