Specification
Procurement and Regular Supply of 19-Litre Bottled Drinking Water for PTA Zonal Office, Lahore (safe, hygienic and good-quality drinking water)
Specification
Approximately 10–15 bottles of 19 liters each per week, with delivery to this office twice a week, according to actual requirements. approximately 350 bottles of 19 liters, for the 8 months.

The drinking water shall meet the following minimum quality and supply requirements: a. Quality and Safety: Water shall be safe for human consumption and comply with the applicable Pakistan Standard for Bottled Drinking Water (PS: 4639), including prescribed chemical and microbiological limits.

b. Purity and Appearance: Water shall be clear, free from visible impurities, suspended particles and objectionable color.

c. Taste and Odor: Water shall have a fresh, neutral and acceptable taste, without any unpleasant smell or unusual aftertaste.

d. Chemical Composition: Water shall have balanced mineral content and comply with the applicable permissible limits for dissolved substances and other relevant chemical parameters.

e. Microbiological Safety: Water shall be free from harmful microbiological contamination, including E. coli and other specified indicator organisms, within the applicable permissible limits.

f. Bottle Hygiene and Packaging: Each 19-litre bottle shall be food-grade, properly cleaned, hygienically filled, securely capped and sealed to prevent contamination. Bottles shall be in sound condition and free from cracks, leakage or unpleasant odor.

g. Labelling and Traceability: Bottles shall bear the required product identification, manufacturer details, batch information, bottling/expiry dates and applicable certification or license details, as required under relevant standards.

h. Transportation and Storage: Bottles shall be transported and handled hygienically and protected from direct sunlight, excessive heat, dust and other sources of contamination.

i. Supplier Compliance: The supplier shall provide water from a legally compliant source and furnish valid certification and/or relevant quality-test reports when required by the office.

Note: As PTA Zonal Office is located at 165-Abid Majeed Road, Lahore Cantt., the supplier must ensure that the delivery vehicle has a valid Cantt. Entry Pass or required authorization for entry into the Cantonment area. The supplier shall be responsible for ensuring timely and uninterrupted delivery to the office in compliance with applicable entry and security requirements.
